Rachel Scott one of our Mom Squad members share how her kids eat veggies and love them!
In my house vegetables aren’t a problem. Yes, I said it and YES its
true! Every one of my children enjoys veggies and often asks for seconds. What
is my secret???? Flavor.
1- Aldi’s
Garlic Salt. What I love about this seasoning is that its not just a garlic
salt but it has flavor. I have used many garlic salts before but some of them
seemed to just be salt with a dash of garlic stuff. Not at all what I would
call flavor. I can honestly say that
many times I will add olive oil and this garlic salt and that is all I need for
my veggies.
2- Knorr
Chicken Bouillon- This is great for my steamed veggies. I just add olive oil,
water for steaming and a little of this seasoning and the flavor is amazing.
I am no expert when it comes to cooking but I like to share
what I have found to work with some of the tougher jobs (like getting kids to
eat veggies). The other day my daughter opted out of everything on the dinner
menu except spinach and asked for seconds. So, I think this is a secret worth
sharing.
What are some ways you have found to be helpful in getting
your kids to eat veggies?
