• About 40 Saltine Crackers (just over a sleeve)
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup packed Brown Sugar
• 1 11.5-oz package Chocolate Chips (milk chocolate or white chocolate)
Instructions
2. Fill the bottom of the cookie sheet with crackers, set aside.
3. Preheat oven to 350 F.
4. In a sauce pan melt the butter over low-medium heat. Add brown sugar once butter is completely melted. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 3 minutes.
5. Immediately remove from heat and pour bubbly mixture over crackers, being sure to cover all crackers completely.
6. Sprinkle chocolate chips all over the crackers.
7. Place pan in oven for 4-5 minutes, or just until edges of brown sugar mixture gets bubbly.
8. Remove pan from oven and immediately spread now softened chips over all of the crackers. I used a rubber spatula and it worked great.
9. Top with red (or topping of choice) over melted chocolate
10. Place in fridge or freezer until hardened.
11. Break apart and enjoy!
